These pots are a selection of what came out of the kiln during the summer of 2005. They are high fired earthenware - or low fired stoneware - having seen a top temperature of just over 1200c. With an increased emphasis on sculptural form, they are decorated through several firings using vitreous coloured slips and oxide stains. I use 'T' material or a mixture of 'T' material and porcelain. Please click on the picture for a larger view and details.
