Although many of these pots are sold, you can get in touch to check availability or to commission a similar piece. To view the latest pottery please go to 'New Studio Ceramics'. MAKING THE POTS Work is mainly based on the wheel, often made from several joined and altered parts or I build with slabs of thinly rolled or cut sheets of clay, pre-formed at the leather-hard stage. Firing is always to stoneware (1260 c) in an electric kiln. Some pieces are once fired, some go through more firings depending on the surface effects I want to achieve. The metallic bronze finish is once fired and burnished.
